CA Final Course

CA Final is the 3rd level of the Chartered Accountancy course. The Institute of Cost Accountants of India is the exam conducting body for CA exams. The ICAI conducts CA Final exam 2 times a year in months of May and December. CA Final is the toughest level of the Chartered Accountancy course. Many candidates take this exam several times to clear all the subjects. After clearing this CA Final course, the students will become a professional Chartered Accountant.

CA Final Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has cleared all the papers of CA Foundation and CA Inter level is eligible to attend the CA Final course. The ICAI also conducts practical training and article ship program to the candidates before they apply for Final level exams. If the candidate clears all the papers of the CA Inter, then the students can attend the CA FInal exams during the last 6 months of the practical training.

CA Final Papers

There are 8 papers for CA Final course, which are divided into 2 groups. The CA Final papers are mentioned below:

    Part II: Economic Laws (30 Marks)

Group II

  • Paper-5: Strategic Cost Management and Performance Evaluation (100 Marks)
  • Paper-6: Elective Paper (100 Marks) (One to be chosen from the list of Elective Papers)

The above mentioned are the 8 papers for the CA Final course. TEach paper is conducted for 100 marks. All 8 papers are of descriptive type questions.

CA Final Fees

The students should pay fees at the time of applying for the CA Final exams. the ICAI allows the students to apply for both the groups at a time or they can apply for a single group. The fee varies based on the groups. The CA Final exam is conducted across many test centers. Here we are providing fees for different test centers.

The candidate should pay fees online only at the time of registration for the course. The students will be able to fill the application form only if the fee is paid.

Registration Validity of CA Final Course

If the candidate is once registred for the CA Final course, his/her registration to the course is valif\d for 5 years. They can revalidate their registration after 5 years by paying a revalidation fee of Rs.500?-.

Required Documents  for CA Final Exams

You can register yourself for the CA Final course online through the ICAI website. Ensure that you have the following documents before applying for the CA Final exams.

  1. Attested copy of proof of Nationality.
  2. If the student is a foreigner. Attested copy of proof of special category certificate i.e SC/ST, OBC.
  3. Marksheet of Intermediate/IPCC exams.
  4. ICITSS certificate
